You are looking at an identified photograph of NELSON DARWIN WRIGHT of Ticonderoga, NY. If you get out your magnifying glass you can see the name written in the top left corner.
This photo measures about 2x4 and it is in very nice shape (see scans). The photo is bordered with a gold beveled edge and although I don't know much about photos, I believe this type of photo is called a carte de Visite and according to information I found online, the gold beveled edge was used from about 1885-1892.
I've done a little research on this photo and this is what I've come up with:
NELSON DARWIN WRIGHT was born September 4, 1864, NY., to GEORGE DARWIN & PHEBE TOWNSEND WRIGHT.
GEORGE DARWIN WRIGHT was born about 1834, NY. and PHEBE TOWNSEND was born abt. 1835, NY.
NELSON DARWIN WRIGHT'S grandparents were, GEORGE WRIGHT, 1804, NY. & LUCY ROGERS, 1809, NY.
NELSON DARWIN WRIGHT (see photo) had 2 siblings that I could find, BRADFORD WRIGHT born abt. 1866, NY. & GEORGE ELMER WRIGHT born abt. 1868, NY.
CEMETERY RECORDS - Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ticonderoga, Essex Co., NY.
GEORGE WRIGHT died 6/1882, age 78
LUCY ROGERS WRIGHT died 5/28/1889, age 81
PHEBE TOWNSEND WRIGHT died 3/27/1874, age 39 and she's buried in MT. HOPE CEMETERY.
M.M. GRAHAM WRIGHT (second wife of Geo. D. Wright) 1840-1897
GEORGE ELMER (Nelson's brother) died 8/25/1885, age 17
GEORGE DARWIN WRIGHT (Nelson's father) 1834-1898.
NELSON D. WRIGHT, born 9/4/1864 and died 2/15/1919,
JENNIE McMURTRY WRIGHT, (1868-1916).
NOTE: You can see why PHOEBE'S 2 siblings were living with her in 1920, both NELSON & JENNIE were deceased.
NELSON DARWIN WRIGHT married JENNIE McMURTRY, in 1890 and they had the following children:
MABEL LUCY (could be LUCY MABEL) born Sept. 1892, NY. PHOEBE M., born Oct. 1894, NY. & FLORENCE M., born Oct. 1897, NY. (see census info. that follows)
1900 TICONDEROGA, ESSEX CO., NY.

1910 TICONDEROGA, ESSEX CO., NY.
NELSON D. WRIGHT, 45, NY. farmer
JENNIE M., wife, 41, NY.

FLORENCE M., daughter, 12, NY
GEORGE N., son, 2, NY.
SAMUEL McMURTEY, 52, 1858, NY., HELPER
NOTE: SAMUEL McMURTEY listed right above is not only a HELPER but he is the brother of JENNIE M. WRIGHT. I did a little checking and I found this:
1870 TICONDEROGA, ESSEX CO., NY.
WILLIAM McMURTRY, 41, IRELAND
EMELINE, wife, 35, NY.
ANDREW, son, 17, NY.
JAMES, son, 15, NY.

1880 TICONDEROGA, ESSEX CO., NY.
WILLIAM McMURTRY, 51, IRELAND
JAMES A., 25
JENNIE, 11 (her first or middle name must be SARAH)
BELLE M., 9
ANNIE E., 8
MARY E., 4
NOTE: SAMUEL is not listed in the 1880 census, however, he is 22 in 1880 so he's probably on his own.
You can find WILLIAM & EMILY McMURTRY in the 1860 census records in the same location as 1870 & 1880.
WILLIAM McMURTRY was born AUGUST 1829
WILLIAM McMURTRY is widowed by 1900.
WILLIAM McMURTRY emigrated in 1848
WILLIAM McMURTRY died June 6, 1905, Ironville, NY.
EMELINE'S maiden name was CLOUGH
EMELINE CLOUGH: 2/28/1835-9/27/1895
I took the below listed CLOUGH information from the following website: http://boards.ancestry.com.au/surnames.mcmurtry/220.127.116.11.1.1.2/mb.ashx
William McMurtry was married to Emilina Clough. She was the daughter of Phillip Clough & Sarah Sartwell. Phillip is my current brickwall, he was born in N. Ireland in 1810. Sarah Sartwell is another matter. I have some interesting background on her ancestry. She was the daughter of Haile Sartwell & Dolly Wood. Hale was the son of Revolutionary war soldier Oliver Sartwell (of Vermont) and Mary (unknown). Dolly Wood was the daughter of Rev. War Soldier Jason Wood and Sarah Sally Hale. Jason was at the battle of Bennington, Dorchester & others. While Sarah Hale's line can be traced to the Mayflower by the Billington family...
BACK TO NELSON & JENNIE'S family:
1920 census records indicate that PHOEBE M. WRIGHT (born 1895) was married to CLYDE CRAMMOND, they were living in ESSEX, TICONDEROGA, NY. and PHOEBE'S siblings were living with them:
