You are looking at an original identified photograph of CHRISTINA ELY GRAHAM SHOUSE, taken BEVIER, MACON CO., MO. This image is very nice and clear but the frame is ruff (see scans). This photo measures about 10.5x5

I did some research on this photo and this is what I've come up with: CHRISTINA "ELY" GRAHAM was born APRIL 6, 1855, SHEPHERDSTOWN, BLEMONT, OHIO to THOMAS MAJOR GRAHAM (b:1829-1895 OH.) and ELIZABETH STINE (b:1825 PA.).

The back of the photograph is id'd as "Grandma MAJOR'S sister, ELY SHOUSE, BROOKFIELD, MO." Grandma MAJOR is ESTHER CATHERINE JANE GRAHAM (b:1849) who married ERASTUS MAJOR. ESTHER CATHERINE JANE GRAHAM is CHRISTINA ELY GRAHAM'S sister, other siblings are: MARY HANNAH, SARAH LIZZIE, MARIETTA RACHEL, THEISA , GERTRUDE ISABELLA, JOHN ORD & CARRIE.

CHRISTINA ELY GRAHAM apparently went by ELY GRAHAM SHOUSE, she married JAMES WYLIE SHOUSE (b1847 OH.- 1904 MO.) on MARCH 25, 1874, OH. and they had children: JOSEPH CARROLL SHOUSE (b:8/1/1876 OH.) and ROBERT GRAHAM SHOUSE (b:1879 OH.), WALLACE STINE SHOUSE (b:1892), JAY W. SHOUSE (b:1889), JOHN BELMONT SHOUSE (b:1888), MARY H. SHOUSE (b:1886) & SARA ELIZABETH SHOUSE (b:1882).

ELY GRAHAM SHOUSE died about JUNE 8, 1931, LINN CO., OHIO and is buried in ROSE HILL CEMETERY, BROOKFIELD, LINN CO., OHIO.
